Water Bottle Up or Down?

Materials Needed

  • Water bottles of the players, placed next to the field.

Instructions

  1. Explain the drill and tell the players what the goal of the drill is and what they should focus on (a specific focus).
  2. For example in basketball: a shooting drill where the goal is to improve the shot from the elbow position. The players are told to focus on snapping their wrist and flicking their fingers to give the ball backspin.
  3. Tell the players that after every attempt, they have to walk to their water bottle and decide whether they did or did not focus their attention on making the right movement.
  4. They put their water bottle upright when they think they did focus their attention, and put it down when not. Then they go for the next attempt.
  5. After your explanation, the drill can start.
